Leadership Belief Statement..

Blackwater Community-Akimel O'Otham Pee Posh Charter School Leadership Team is committed to serving our school's faculty, staff, and children, and families with integrity, fairness, trust, and inspirational leadership. We will strive to build a school culture that is consistently honest, supportive and respectful to each other and to all who grace our school with their presence. In active partnership with our colleagues and families, we will create and pursue a vision for educational excellence that is based on abiding belief that each adult in our school will exercise sound judgement and the honest regard for individual differences.

Strong Parental Involvment...

Our Staff strongly believes in the Parental-Involvement componant of our school's success and we strive every year to continue enhancing the programs and activities that involve parents, guardians and community members to be our strongest stakeholders. School organizes multiple events towards this end. Our school publishes bi-weekly news letters to keep the parents and community informed.

Achievements and Celebrations...

We never forget to recognize the hard work and achievements of our studnets and staff. We celebrate each and every milestone our students and staff reach. It helps greatly in solidifying and enhancing our relationships with the students and the staff. We are very blessed by having a dedicated, caring, and committed staff at Blackwater Community School/Akimel O'Otham Pee Posh Charter School.

Teaching & Learning is Fun here...

We strongly believe that Teaching and learning is fun. Students grasp better and quicker when there is lot of "hands-on" activities are embedded in the teaching and learning process. We highly encourage all our instructional staff to design and integrate high rigor lactivities that will continue to challenege each and every student in each classroom everyday. A common thread that runs throuout in school is the culture of 'high expectations' from all.
