Summer school sign-up forms were sent home with students yesterday. Please complete and return the form with your student no later than WED May 20, 2026, to help ensure your child’s spot.

Please read and review the letter with your student, then sign and return it to your child’s 5th grade teacher tomorrow, 05/12.

BWCS Update: We want to inform you that the lockdown situation has been fully resolved, per the Gila River Police Department. All students and staff are safe, and we have returned to normal operations.

Due to an off-campus police situation, Blackwater Community School was placed on lockdown for the safety of our students and staff. Per Gila River PD, we have moved into SECURE status on campus, allowing us to resume limited activities while maintaining safety.
Please do not come to campus at this time. Staff and students are not permitted to leave until all statuses are fully lifted. ALL staff and students are safe and secure.
