There will be NO bus transportation home after the Sock Hop. Students not attending the Sock Hop will go home through their normal dismissal and transportation routine. 🪶 Friday, September 18 — NO SCHOOL BWCS will be closed in honor of Native American Day. Dear BWCS Families, We are excited to kick off our first PEP ASSEMBLY of the school year this Friday, August 21! 🎉🎮 And we couldn’t have planned a better way to connect it to this year’s theme: 🎮 LEVEL UP YOUR LEARNING — 1% EVERY DAY! 🎮 Our students will participate in a special 1% Kid Foundation Interactive Book Reading Experience with author and former professional soccer player Channing Chasten, author of The 1% Kid! The message is simple and powerful: Every child can become 1% better every day. Students will learn that reaching big goals doesn’t happen all at once—it happens by making small, positive choices and continuing to grow each day. Students will focus on the 3 Ps for Growth: ⭐ Practice — Keep showing up and working on your skills. 💪 Perseverance — Keep going when things get difficult. ⏳ Patience — Remember that meaningful growth takes time and consistent effort.
